Cressacres Syndicate

The Syndicate was formed in 2007 and quickly gained a reputation as one of the premier “runs waters” in the Colne Valley. It offers anglers the opportunity to join before securing a place on the adjacent Croxley Hall Carp Syndicate.

Members enjoy exclusive carp fishing on four well-established waters: Cressacres Lake, Broadacres Lake, Longwater Lake, and Kingfisher Pool.
Cressacres is a mature seven-acre gravel pit, dug over 45 years ago, alongside Longwater and Kingfisher Pool, both of which are just over an acre in size. Broadacres Lake is a mature four-acre gravel pit which, until 1985, formed part of the famous Croxley Hall main lake.

The syndicate season runs from 16 April to 15 March. Members may fish for a maximum of 48 hours per session and are free to choose any one lake or a combination of all four during their stay.

Excellent facilities are available to all members, including toilets, running water, and use of a fully equipped lodge. A unique online login/logout system allows members to check lake occupancy from home before travelling. Through the members’ area, anglers can upload catch photos, view catch reports, and keep up to date with the latest fishery news and events.

All syndicate members benefit from access to two secure car parks, located close to the lakes and protected by locked gates.

The lakes are regularly maintained by fishery staff, with neatly mown banks and well-kept swims for member comfort. There is no requirement for members to attend work parties during the year.

Cressacres Carp Syndicate is ideally suited to anglers who value catching beautiful fish in a secure, peaceful environment, supported by excellent facilities and a professionally managed fishery.
