At just over one acre in size with six swims, Longwater is a pretty little lake containing numerous lily pads and other marginal plants, it has an average depth of around 3 to 4ft and was dug in the mid-seventies.
The lake has received a number of carp stockings over the years and is home to some very old carp, more recently Longwater has been stocked with sixty C3 carp bred from the "Croxley Commons" here on the estate. This lake is ideal if you are after a few bites or just want to bring the kids to fish. Other fish present in the lake include Tench, Bream, Perch, and plenty of Roach can be caught on the float.
