Cressacres Lake is a mature seven-acre gravel pit that was dug in 1976, it has received several "carp stockings" since 2007 to supplement the original carp stock introduced as fingerlings in the 1980s.
They include some of the Croxley Commons as well as over two hundred Scaley Carp, and almost one hundred carp from the Dinton Pastures strain, in February 2021 a further thirty carp were stocked, these fish were mainly C4 and C5's.
Cressacres is a typical runs water with multiple catches of carp between twenty and thirty-eight pounds possible.
